03 Feb Make 2016 a Chunky New Year
Its February already – and we’re really pleased to be able to launch our great new website. The guys at Luketom.com created our previous site (a long time ago!) and we’ve teamed up with them again and very pleased with the result.
We will be introducing an ecommerce page at a later date – but if you would like to order anything – just drop us an email.
2015 saw Chunk of Devon take the title of the UK’s most awarded pie and pasty maker – winning a multitude of Great Taste, Taste of The West, Love the Flavour and EBLEX accolades. Not only that, but we are now also supplying even more outlets, including the Bristol Sport Stadium, Oxford United, MCC and closer to home through Devon Hampers. We satisfied the hunger of tennis fanatics at Wimbledon and joined the scrum of premium food producers at the Rugby World Cup, as well as providing delicious food for the hungry hoards at great local events right here in Devon. We could go on, but instead of looking back, let’s look forward…
Coming up this year, you can enjoy the launch of lots more mouth wateringly good pies, pasties and sausage rolls. We’ve already introduced our Mexican winter warmer – Ricardo’s Pie. This lip-smackingly good chilli Mex pie – is vegetarian, made with Quorn and is ‘mucho tasty’! You can snap up the treat from one of our many suppliers and outlets – check out the ‘where to buy’ section to find your closest Chunk fix.
We’ll be attending a whole host of exciting events, which we hope to see you at, kicking off with the Source Trade Show at Westpoint in Exeter from 10-11 February. As well as a tasty helping of events, we will also be looking to beat our 2015 awards tally – with our sights firmly set on celebrating big wins at The British Pie Awards in March, so watch this space.
Of course, we will make sure to keep you up to date right here on the Chunk blog, as well as on social media. So please do make sure to check back regularly so that you don’t miss any Chunk Chat.
