A Pie Exploding with Flavour !

THE VEGAN SPICY JACK PIE.

Jackfruit is an amazingly funky fruit. High in Vitamins B6 & C, a great source of both magnesium & potassium, it's fleshy texture makes it an ideal meat alternative. Think ..chicken..but more fibrous. We've created a fabulous spicy curry recipe, with sweet spud, squash, red & green peppers, coconut milk and wrapped these tasty ingredients in our wholewheat pastry with turmeric (also super good for you) and topped with fennel seeds.

Approved by the Vegetarian Society as Vegan.

WHEAT flour (WHEAT flour, calcium carbonate, iron, niacin, thiamine), water, vegetable shortening (RSPO palm, rapeseed oil), Jackfruit (10%), sweet potato, butternut squash, wholemeal WHEAT flour, spinach, tomato passata, onions, potato, sultanas, peppers, coconut milk, glaze (water, vegetable protein (pea), dextrose), SOYA based cream alternative, salt, rapeseed oil, ginger puree, SOYA & coconut yoghurt alternatives, garlic puree, turmeric, fennel, coriander, lime juice, garam masala, cumin, fenugreek, desiccated coconut, chat masala, chilli powder, cinnamon, sugar.

For Allergens including Wheat Gluten see ingredients in BOLD CAPITALS. Made in kitchens that may also handle mustard, sesame seed or nuts.

Ideal serving for 1 - but you could share...we'll leave that up to you!

*Really not suitable for microwaves - the pastry will just go soggy - no one wants soggy bottoms!*

Ready to eat cold - but best heated in an oven for true pasty pleasure!

Remove all packaging and place pasty in a preheated oven.

From Chilled: 180°/ Fan 160° / Gas mark 4 for 20-25 minutes.
From Frozen: 190°/ Fan 170° / Gas mark 6 for 40-50 minutes.

Allow it to rest for 3-4 minutes - and enjoy.

These are a guideline as ovens do tend to differ - Yours may have different settings, so please adjust accordingly.

Storage: Keep in a fridge below 5°

Suitable for home freezing (6 months), defrost in fridge, heat thoroughly and enjoy within 3 days.
