YAY! It's Officially British Summer Time - say 'hello' to our ALL NEW VEGAN Ploughman's Pasty.

A Summer Special - Available until the end of September is the Vegan Ploughman's Pasty. The original (non-vegan) proved immensely popular, and now with a few tweaks to the recipe to make it Vegan including wrapping in very tasty vegan puff pastry, light and crispy, here it is!

The perfect lunchtime bite....after working in the garden, hot from the oven, but this pasty tastes as good cold as it does hot - so also ideal for a picnic.

We've taken great a tasty vegan cheeze, onions, Branston pickle and some vegan ham - tumbled it with some potato and wrapped it up in our vegan puff pastry all handmade by our team of pasty crimpers.

This recipe has been approved by as Vegan by the Vegetarian Society - so we can proudly display the Vegan approved logo.

Ideal serving for 1 - but you could share...we'll leave that up to you! 😉

*Really not suitable for microwaves - the pastry will just go soggy - no one wants soggy bottoms!*

Ready to eat cold - but best heated in an oven for true pasty pleasure!

Remove all packaging and place pasty in a preheated oven.

From Chilled: 180°/ Fan 160° / Gas mark 4 for 20-25 minutes.
From Frozen: 150°/ Fan 130° / Gas mark 2 for 40-50 minutes.

Allow it to rest for 3-4 minutes - and enjoy.

These are a guideline as ovens do tend to differ - Yours may have different settings, so please adjust accordingly.

Storage: Keep in a fridge below 5°

Suitable for home freezing, defrost in fridge, heat thoroughly and enjoy within 3 days,

DO NOT Refreeze once cooked
