We are immensely proud to have won MORE awards for our pies and pasties at this years Taste of the West Awards.
With over 1000 food & drink entries from producers across the South West the judging panel had a real tasting task! Of the nine products we entered – 8 won an award – which is a huge achievement for the whole team. All products we enter for any award, we take straight off the production line – no special treatment for our entries!
We want to make sure all our Chunk customers have the same tasting experience as any of the judges!
Our Steak Pasty was amongst the winners, receiving another gold award. Made to the traditional recipe of beef skirt, swede, potato and onion wrapped in our own short crust pastry. This hand crimped Devon Pasty has won more awards than any Cornish Pasty!
The Taste of the West Awards programme, established more than two decades ago, highlights excellence throughout the South West’s food and drink industry and promotes and supports the fantastic local food and drink from this region. That’s Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Somerset and Wiltshire.
This highly regarded Awards programme provides an opportunity to gain recognition for products and really helps to convey the quality and values of businesses to potential customers, generating much interest among both buyers and consumers.
