Dinner wars: Pie and Mash vs Toad in the Hole

It is on. The time has come for the ultimate battle of the comfort food dishes! There is something about carbs on carbs that we need to get us through the dark and cold winter months in this glorious country. As a nation, we’re proud of our traditional comforting grub and this edition has us mulling over the distinct advantages each of these classic dishes have and whether Pie and Mash or Toad in the Hole come out on top (with very little bias 🤣)!

The preference for "Pie and Mash" over "Toad in the Hole" is, of course, completely subjective and depends on individual tastes. However, for those who appreciate the comforting and hearty qualities of Pie and Mash, here are a few reasons why some might argue it's superior (in every way).
