Above and beyond delicious!
Our incredibly popular individual Homity Pie has been made even better! We've added in a tasty wholemeal flour to our shortcrust pastry, which has given a real depth of flavour to an already great pie. The judges at the 2022 Great Taste Awards thought so too....awarding it a 2 Star Gold and according to the judges this means 'above & beyond delicious!'

By all accounts, this is an Irish delicacy – but it is just as popular in the UK. An open-topped pie made with spud, mature cheddar cheese, onion and a little garlic and a few herbs. Topped with mature West Country cheddar cheese, it's delicious and one of our biggest selling pies.
Suitable for vegetarians - as we use veggie rennet in our cheese.
Potato (36%), onions (18%), extra mature Cheddar Cheese (MILK) (17%), WHEAT flour (WHEAT flour, calcium carbonate, iron, niacin, thiamine), vegetable shortening (RSPO palm, rapeseed oil), water, wholemeal WHEAT flour, salt, garlic powder, vegetable bouillon, black pepper.

Ready to eat cold - but best heated in an oven for true pie pleasure!
Remove all packaging, but keep the pie in it's foil tray, and place in a preheated oven on a baking tray.
From Chilled: 180°/ Fan 160° / Gas mark 4 for 20-25 minutes.
From Frozen: 190°/ Fan 170° / Gas mark 5 for 40-50 minutes.
Allow it to rest for 3-4 minutes - and enjoy.
These are a guideline as ovens do tend to differ - Yours may have different settings, so please adjust accordingly.
Storage: Keep in a fridge below 5°
Suitable for home freezing (6 months), defrost in fridge, heat thoroughly and enjoy within 3 days as above.
DO NOT Refreeze once cooked

Individual Cheddar and Onion Pasty
A 2022 Gold Taste of the West Award Winner
Mature West Country mature cheddar cheese, lightly roasted potato chunks, with some onions and a few herbs added in – a great and simple pasty.
(We only use vegetarian rennet in our cheese 😀)
