And guess what?
That’s never been done before. Ever.
Personally, we don't know anyone else who's holding the record for the most consistently awarded pasty (including those “Cornish Pastiches” masquerading as the real deal!), so this achievement really does means a lot to us.
We take pride in the fact we've never let our standards for pasty excellence slip - so receiving this prize annually for these last 16 years is absolutely awesome!

"Visually this is a very attractive golden pasty with excellent crimp and a generous filling and a clean savoury aroma. The pastry has good texture and melts in the mouth, releasing a clean flavour – the filling is a work of art, with a stunning texture – the meat melts in the mouth releasing an excellent, rich, savoury beef flavour which is complemented by the tasty vegetables working in harmony with the meat and pastry to give a delicious pasty which has been made with great finesse using quality ingredient – we wish more pasties tasted this good."
