Team GB aren't the Only Ones Winning Gold!

Chunk has won more than Michael Phelps & Sir Steve Redgrave combined 😉

While we’re all captivated by the Olympics and Team GB’s medal haul, we’ve been celebrating victories of our own at Chunk of Devon and adding to our trophy cabinet.

We're thrilled to announce that we've earned two gold star accolades at the Great Taste Awards for our awesome Steak Pasty and the fan-favourite, Smokin' Brisket Pie. These wins take our total award count has soaring past 300 but that’s not all… Our Steak Pasty has now secured its 15th consecutive Great Taste Award! That’s more than any other pasty including those “Cornish Pastiches” masquerading as the real deal. In fact, we believe no other product has won so many consecutive awards regardless of category!

Our Steak Pasty isn’t just any pasty; it’s a true champion and something of a legend.

Packed with chunks of delicious free-range local beef skirt, potato, swede, onion, and just the right amount of seasoning, all wrapped in our golden short crust pastry, it’s no wonder this pasty has more awards than any other. If you haven’t tried it yet, you’re missing out on a real winner!

Crafted by our Head of Food, the awesome Smokin’ Brisket Pie was a massive hit with customers earlier in the year.

 
This limited-edition wonder features beef brisket rubbed with chocolate and coffee for a rich, deep flavour, slow-cooked to perfection, and combined with pit beans and hickory smoked BBQ sauce. It sold out so quickly that we had to make more batches to meet demand.

The good news? The Smokin’ Brisket Pie will be back in 2025, so keep an eye on Chunk’s emails for its return!
