If thereās one thing we love more than baking pies, itās celebrating brilliant Devon food, and this week, we had plenty to celebrate!
At the Food Drink Devon Awards 2025, we picked up eight shiny new awards for our pies and pasties, including one of the biggest honours of the night ā Best New Food Product for our Butter Chicken Curry Pasty!
š What Makes These Awards So Special
The Food Drink Devon Awards are all about championing the very best of our countyās food and drink scene - from local producers and retailers to the pubs, cafĆ©s, and restaurants that make Devon such a foodie haven!!
Products are blind-tasted and judged by an expert panel of industry professionals - so when we say weāre chuffed with these results, we really mean it!! These folks know their stuff, and the competition is fierce.

ā Best New Food Product ā Butter Chicken Curry Pasty (and Platinum Award!)
Weāre absolutely over the moon with this one - the most prestigious award of the night, and a proper nod to innovation and flavour!
Our Butter Chicken Curry Pasty is a glorious mash-up of East meets West (Country): tender British chicken in a rich, creamy tomato curry sauce with just the right kick of spice, all wrapped up in golden, flaky pastry! Comforting, bold, and a real flavour bomb.
And this oneās been a hit with customers too!

The ultimate comfort pie - tender chicken, smoky bacon, and soft leeks in a rich creamy sauce. Itās homely, hearty, and everything you want on a chilly evening.
Our veggie legend!Ā Big, chunky roasted root veg, sweet potato, and spice, all hugged in buttery pastry. Packed with colour, flavour, and that satisfying roastiness that even meat-lovers canāt resist.
A proper pork pie that means business. Hand-crafted, perfectly seasoned minced pork in hot water crust pastry. Rustic, meaty, and full of that nostalgic, old-school goodness, Ā Devon style!!
A firm fan favourite, and a 16x Great Taste Award winner to boot. Slow-cooked British steak, onion, and potato, perfectly balanced and wrapped in buttery pastry. Classic, hearty, unbeatable!

Our tender lamb and/or mutton pie, slow-cooked with veg and herbs, topped with creamy mash and baked to perfection. Itās comfort in a crust, with that unmistakable West Country twist!!
A proper pub classic. Chunky British beef slow-cooked in a locally brewed porter, with onions and mushrooms for that deep, rich gravy flavour that sticks to your ribs (in the best way).
