A fantastic combination of diced leg of pork (free range of course) apple, chunks of potato and swede, then steeped in sweet Scrumpy from our friends at Sandford Orchards and a sprinkling of herbs, then hand crimped in our thin shortcrust pastry. A great Devon pasty!

One of our most popular pasties.

The Mighty Chunki Roast Veg pasty is now even mightier!

We have taken our awesome Award Winning Roast Veg Pasty recipe one step further and made it even better! We've added in a fabulous wholemeal flour, which has given the pastry a real depth of flavour. We also decided to replace the free range egg glaze with one suitable for everyone. 

The team tracked down a product that ticked all the boxes for us here at Chunk. Turns out Peas are the answer - yep - a glaze made from peas!

It really is a truly rustic gourmet pasty!

Butter Chicken stuffed into a Pasty... what's not to love!

This new curry pasty jam-packed full of flavour is an adaptation of our popular Kickin’ Chicken Pie recipe. Tender chunks of chicken, along with a balance of peppers, spuds, tomato and those aromatic Indian flavours of cumin, turmeric, coconut and a little lime juice. Well spiced, but not spicy! This warming pie packs a punch in the chilly weather!

We're using locally sourced venison, bacon chunks and some mushrooms. Then we've added a good splosh of port and a few crushed juniper berries and to really give it a depth of flavour a sprinkling of Sur Del Lago 100% pure Cacao...Thank you to Willies Cacao! Don't miss out! 

 

Our Venison & Port Pies contain:

WHEAT Flour (WHEAT flour, calcium carbonate, iron, niacin, thiamine), venison (23%), onion, vegetable shortening (RSPO palm, rapeseed), smoked bacon (pork, sodium nitrite) (7%), water, butter (MILK), chestnut mushrooms, silver skin onions, modified starch, port (SULPHITES) (3%), glaze (water, vegetable protein (pea), dextrose), salt, beef bouillon, (sunflower oil), vegetable bouillon (sunflower oil), cacao, rosemary, juniper berries, garlic puree, black pepper, bay leaf .

For Allergens including Wheat Gluten see ingredients in BOLD CAPITALS. Made in kitchens that may also handle mustard, sesame seed or nuts.

Our pies are an ideal serving for 1 - but you could share...we'll leave that up to you 😉

*Really not suitable for microwaves - the pastry will just go soggy - no one wants soggy bottoms!*

Ready to eat cold - but best heated in an oven for true pie pleasure!

Remove all packaging, but keep the pie in it's foil tray, and place in a preheated oven on a baking tray.

From Chilled: 180°/ Fan 160° / Gas mark 4 for 20-25 minutes.
From Frozen: 190°/ Fan 170° / Gas mark 5 for 40-50 minutes.

Allow it to rest for 3-4 minutes - and enjoy.

These are a guideline as ovens do tend to differ - Yours may have different settings, so please adjust accordingly.

Storage: Keep in a fridge below 5°

Suitable for home freezing (6 months), defrost in fridge, heat thoroughly and enjoy within 3 days as above.

DO NOT Refreeze once cooked

This quacking good LIMITED EDITION PIE has been created for Chinese New Year Celebrations and inspired by our favourite oriental dishes. 

Marinated, slow-cooked Duck is shredded then mixed in with finely chopped stir fried veg in a hoisin style sauce before being stuffed into our buttery shortcrust pastry. A fusion of East meets West(country)! 

Our Duckin' Pie contains:

  • We deliver Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
  • BANK HOLIDAYS... our courier does not collect or deliver, so parcels will take a little longer to arrive if you place an order around Bank Holidays.
  • P&P is £3.95 for orders under £35.00.
  • Orders of £35.00 and over are FREE of charge.
  • Orders are baked the day before we pack them.
  • When your order arrives place it in either fridge or freezer as soon as possible
  • IF your order includes a GLUTEN FREE pie or pasty. These have been previously frozen. PLEASE NOTE, if they have defrosted they are still safe to put in the freezer. 
  • All are sent with a Next Day delivery service
  • Delivery Time:- we aim to get your parcel to you 2-3 working days from placing your order – if not sooner!
  • Our lovely baker does like the weekend off - who can blame him!
  • If you place an order, for example on Thursday, the soonest we can get your delivery to you will be Tuesday.
