One of our most popular pasties.

The Mighty Chunki Roast Veg pasty is now even mightier!

We have taken our awesome Award Winning Roast Veg Pasty recipe one step further and made it even better! We've added in a fabulous wholemeal flour, which has given the pastry a real depth of flavour. We also decided to replace the free range egg glaze with one suitable for everyone. 

The team tracked down a product that ticked all the boxes for us here at Chunk. Turns out Peas are the answer - yep - a glaze made from peas!

It really is a truly rustic gourmet pasty!

Tex-mex in a pie... mucho tasty!

We've taken a classic chilli con carne recipe - minced beef, peppers, sweetcorn, red kidney and cannellini beans, added a warm chilli salsa then topped all this with crushed tortilla chips and melted extra mature cheddar cheese.  

Ideal for a Mexican fiesta with friends or family - get the maracas at the ready!

Remove all packaging, but keep the pie in it's foil tray, and place in a preheated oven on a baking tray.

From Chilled: 180°/ Fan 160° / Gas mark 4 for 20-25 minutes.
From Frozen: 190°/ Fan 170° / Gas mark 5 for 40-50 minutes.

Allow it to rest for 3-4 minutes - and enjoy.

These are a guideline as ovens do tend to differ - Yours may have different settings, so please adjust accordingly.

Storage: Keep in a fridge below 5°

Suitable for home freezing (6 months), defrost in fridge, heat thoroughly and enjoy within 3 days as above.

The Marmite Homity, The Sweet Chilli Homity and The Bacon Homity are adaptations of this classic comfort food that'll have you coming back for more every time!
